White Mountain Fall Sunrise Elopement: Shannon & Will
Shannon and Will live adventurously in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. For them, a traditional wedding was never front of mind when they were planning their ultimate adventure elopement day. They wanted to elope intentionally in the mountains they call home at sunrise so they could celebrate with family and friends at a reception later that evening.
We greeted a very excited Shannon and Will at 5:30 in the morning on a beautiful October day at the trailhead. They were smiling ear to ear and we immediately hugged after getting to know this amazing couple over the past 18 months in planning their elopement day. The trail they chose while shorter, came out to one of our favorite mountain vistas in New Hampshire. It was still a little dark when we reached the summit, the skies were lightening to a beautiful magenta hue and growing brighter by the minute. Shannon and Will changed into their attire for their first look and ceremony. They were married by a friend and exchanged their vows privately. Every single part of this quiet morning was so intentional.
After the ceremony the sun was still rising over the mountains and created a beautiful golden light. Once the sun rose fog set in the valley and gently cleared out for the rest of their elopement morning where we visited some other hikes and scenic areas close by.
New Hampshire’s fall foliage is some of the most stunning in the world! October books out quickly every year, inquire below to book your White Mountain elopement!
