What is an Adventure Elopement?
Adventure elopements are gaining steam in New England and across the country!
You may have seen epic photos of couples getting married on rocky outcroppings with towering mountain peaks as their witnesses - photos of couples saying “I do” in enchanted forests or snowy fields.
For some, having their entire 150 person group of friends, family, and even co-workers is a must, but more and more couples are realizing that getting married is first, and foremost about them, and their experience.
Here are just some ideas for what an adventure elopement could be!
A hike up to your favorite mountain pass, complete with a cozy blanket and a favorite bottle of champagne.
Thinking of something more adventurous? What about getting married on the side of a cliff - tied in with your climbing rope?
Or maybe a quiet trip on a canoe in the Maine wilderness.
You could even have us come along on a backpacking adventure in the rainforest.
Maybe you want to take your vows to the skies. A helicopter elopement is always an option.
Winter is your jam? We’re avid skiers and would LOVE to capture your elopement on skis!
Think big. Go adventure!
Most couples who have big traditional weddings, end up spending upwards of $30,000 - all to get married in place that they probably won’t remember for the rest of their lives. Oh, and they will probably spend most of their day stressing out about the details, rushing from place to place, and entertaining your guests. It’s also likely that they won’t actually get to spend much time with their significant other on the most important day of their lives. Doesn’t sound all that fun - does it?
