Top of the Ridge Farm Elopement: Sierra & Brian
Almost every winter we experience a day in New Hampshire where spring comes a little early. Sierra & Brian were lucky enough to call that day their elopement day! With Sierra being 6 months pregnant and the couple wanting a truly luxurious experience they chose to have their elopement at our personal favorite New Hampshire Bed and Breakfast. Top of the Ridge Farm is a boutique experience with only four rooms so innkeepers Tatiana and Gino can truly pamper each and every one of their guests. Their intimate wedding and elopement guests are always in for a special treat when they get married here.
After getting ready at one of the beautiful rooms at the inn the couple had their first look in front of the beautiful 18th century fireplace in the sitting room. The moment was quiet, intimate and truly special since they were the only guests at the inn that week. Sierra glowed in her Tiffany Rose bridal gown. They also had gorgeous floral arrangements by Floralune and hair and makeup done by Laura Dumont.
Their ceremony took place outside in front of the arbor which perfectly framed the White Mountains and Mt. Washington in the distance. Brian shed a few tears as Sierra read her heartfelt and sincere vows to him.
Once the ceremony was complete and Sierra & Brian were married they enjoyed an incredible charcuterie board prepared by the inn, the most delicious looking cake, and a sweet dance in the sitting room. Then the adventure began! Oh yes, Sierra may have had a baby belly, but her and Brian were not going to squander this gorgeous day and not hike. After all, the couple hiked on their first date, the day they got engaged, and now on the day they got married.
We hiked a nearby preserve to watch the sunset from one of the most beautiful vantage points in the Lake’s Region of New Hampshire. Watching the sun set over Lake Winnipesaukee is a pretty special thing any day of the year, but the sun was a little more golden this day.
