NH Forest Engagement Session: Sarah & Mike
We were first contacted by Sarah in July asking about our engagement sessions. As we emailed I began to pick up bits and pieces of their love story. They both have an undeniable love of nature and the great outdoors which Anton and I admired from the start.
After we helped them find the ideal setting for their engagement shoot, I could see why they chose Mine Falls in Nashua. It suited their background perfectly. Sarah is a vet who was born and raised in California among massive Sequoia and Redwood forests. Mike works in forestry, his love of the forest is spoken for.
Not only do Sarah and Mike have an appreciation of the outdoors, they love nothing more than to be in it. Mike proposed to Sarah on South Hancock in Lincoln, NH, the very summit Anton and I first hiked together. It’s amazing how one mountain has so many love stories to tell. I always knew it was a special place, but knowing that another couple has such a deep connection to that mountain gave me chills.
Watching Sarah and Mike together is like watching your favorite romance film play over and over again. The love shared between them is so visible and strong that it puts a smile on your face. Their love is pure and kind.
My favorite part about being a wedding photographer is getting to know a couple and their story. These stories aren’t fictional fairy tales, but the real deal. When you fall in love your soul awakens as it never has before.
