NH Squam Lake Winter Elopement

On a perfect winter day Cassy & Rob along with their adorable Portuguese Water Dog Casco and Rob’s cousin Felix hiked to the top of a small, but gorgeous peak in the Squam Lake area of New Hampshire. We met them first at their Airbnb in Madison to capture their getting ready and first look. From the moment we arrived Cassy, Rob, and Casco were the kindest and warmest people. They bought not one, but two cakes in order to celebrate their day from a local bakery. Their cake topper included their entire family of fur babies.

After a very sweet first look on the cabin property we made the drive to the trailhead and started our adventure to the summit. The sun sparkled off the snow like dew drops in the morning. The Earth stood still, without even a gust of wind and the warmth of the winter light made it feel truly like springtime was right around the corner.

After the ceremony we watched the sun set behind the White Mountains to the north and create a glow on Squam Lake. This couple lived so authentically during their day and truly made their elopement special. None of course would have been made possible without the teamwork of all amazing vendors:
