Midcoast Maine AirBnb Microwedding

This was far from just another Acadia elopement—it didn’t need to be. While many visitors are drawn to Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park, the Maine coast offers a wealth of stunning seaside locations perfect for a relaxed and unforgettable wedding experience.

When Alette and Kieron were planning their micro-wedding, they envisioned a special day for their family and friends, all while keeping logistics straightforward. A charming VRBO on Pratts Island, near Boothbay Harbor, turned out to be the perfect venue.

Before sharing their vows with loved ones, Alette and Kieron took a moment to exchange heartfelt private vows on a nearby secluded beach. With the entire pebble beach to themselves, they were surrounded by the gentle sounds of the waves, golden light filtering through the spruce trees, and, of course, their dedicated photographers.

Following a magical golden hour ceremony, we had an amazing time capturing portraits as the sun cast a stunning glow over everything.

During cocktail hour, I playfully asked Alette, “How about some badass adventure shots in a canoe?” Her excited reply, “LET’S DO IT!” lit up her face.

Kieron, who grew up on a lake with a canoe paddle in hand, was more than ready to hop in. We prepped a canoe and a kayak and set off onto the water, capturing adventurous moments that truly showcased their spirit.

This elopement serves as a wonderful reminder that you can have an epic adventure wedding without venturing into a National Park. There are countless private spots that can perfectly match your vibe and help you create lasting memories.
