How technical of a hike are you willing to go on for your ceremony? *

Remember, a shorter hike can be very technical, and a longer hike can often be more moderate/gentle.

Class 1: Walking with a low chance of injury, light trekking shoes or approach shoes are okay for this level.

Class 2: Mountain climbing with more significant elevation gain, with the possibility of occasional rock scrambling. Little potential danger is encountered. Ankle high hiking boots strongly recommended.

Class 3: Scrambling with increased exposure. Handholds are necessary. Chains, ladders, and other aids may be in place on the route to navigate safely. Exposure is present.

What is your hiking fitness level? *

Include your actual hiking fitness! If you would like to do something much easier for your elopement day you can note that in the box below.

Easiest - Suitable for people of all ages who are in fair condition. Less than 500 feet of elevation gain.

Easy - Suitable for people of most ages who have a basic fitness level. Elevation gain of less than 800 feet total.

Moderate - Reasonably fit hikers who get out at least once a month should be able to do this level. This level would be considered easy for frequent hikers. Elevation gain of 800~1,500 feet total.

Challenging - Regular hiking experience is required to participate in hikes at this level. Elevation gain of more than 1500-3000 feet total.

Very Difficult - Long distances and big elevation gains make this level. High fitness level is required because speed will be important to complete a hike of over 3,000 feet in elevation gain. Used to carrying heavy packs for backpacking.

How important is privacy? *

Please keep in mind, when getting married on public lands there is always a risk of another person walking by. For ultimate privacy we recommend renting space at a venue or getting married at your airbnb!
